Project Aliases

Aliases allow you to create personalized and memorable URLs for your forms.

What is an alias?​

An alias is a short, personalized URL that makes sharing your form easier.

Create an alias​

  1. Access project settings
  2. "Alias" section
  3. Enter a unique alias name
  4. Click "Create alias"
  5. The alias is immediately active

Naming rules​

Aliases must follow these rules:

3 to 50 charactersAccents

Valid examples:

  • wedding-2024
  • conference-paris
  • beta-signup

Invalid examples:

  • wedding 2024 (space)
  • event_paris (underscore)
  • summer-2024 (if using accented characters)

Manage aliases​

Modify an alias​

To change a project's alias:

  1. Delete the current alias
  2. Create the new alias
Warning

The old URL will become immediately inaccessible. Update all your communications.

Delete an alias​

  1. Access project settings
  2. "Alias" section
  3. Click "Delete"
  4. Confirm deletion

The form remains accessible via its project ID.

Include the date or year:

Identify the campaign type:

  • newsletter-signup

Clearly indicate the test nature:

Troubleshooting​

Alias already taken​

If the desired alias is in use:

  1. Add the year: event-2024
  2. Add an identifier: event-paris
  3. Use a number: event-1

Non-functional alias​

Verify that:

  1. The alias follows naming rules
  2. The project is active
  3. The URL includes the /p/ prefix
