Initial Configuration
Glambot Studio Desktop configuration guide after installation.
First Launch
On first launch of the application, you access the project management screen.
Initial Choice
The application offers you two options:
- 📁 Create a New Project: Start a new project
- 📂 Open an Existing Project: Resume a previously created project
If you close the application while a project is open, this project will be automatically reopened on next launch. You can change projects at any time from the menu.
Step 1: Demo Mode and Activation
The application works in Demo mode on first launch, allowing you to test it before subscribing to a license seat.
In Demo mode, the application is fully functional but adds a watermark on all transcoded videos. See the Activation section to remove the watermark and activate all features.
Step 2: Create or Open a Project
You can create or open a project, whether the application is activated or in Demo mode.
Create a New Project
- Click on "New Project"
- Project name: Give a descriptive name (e.g., "Jean & Marie Wedding")
- Location: Choose where to save the project file
- Example:

- Example:
The project file is lightweight and contains only references to videos and configuration parameters. The video files themselves remain in the import and transcode folders you will configure.
